"Pennies For Patient" Lunch Celebration

Please note that our student council body from the intermediate campus sponsored a service project in support of the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society's fight against cancer. Such service project ended on February 22, 2019. Our intermediate goal was to raise at least $750.00 in this regard. Our intermediate 4th- and 5th-graders did a great job. They raised $1,567.29. To motivate the students to reach our intermediate campus goal, the homeroom classes were offered a lunch celebration for the homeroom class that raised the most monies. I am glad to share that Ms. Whitlock's 4th-grade homeroom class won such incentive. As a result, Ms. Whitlock's homeroom class will travel to the Whataburger in Alice on Highway 281 to enjoy lunch on the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society on Friday, March 8, 2019. Our intermediate students and staff members trust that the monies raised will help saves lives in the future.
